Shadowrocket Download
Verify the App Store listing
Shadowrocket is a paid app, purchased once and available only on the App Store. Check your account region and the product details before buying. If you’ve already purchased it, check your purchase history first.
The button opens the product page in a new tab. The App Store determines the storefront, price, and purchase eligibility shown to you.
Refer to the App Store listing for the actual price, system requirements, and Universal Purchase details. Buying the app ≠ buying a service plan.
Your Apple ID determines the storefront
This app is not available in the mainland China storefront. If Shadowrocket doesn’t appear in search results, first check the country or region of the Apple ID you use for the App Store instead of repeatedly changing your search terms. Your device location, system language, and storefront region are separate settings. Changing your device language to English does not change your account’s storefront.
The button on this page links to Shadowrocket’s US storefront product page. The storefront path in the link displays that web listing, but does not change your account’s region. In the App Store, your account, the app’s availability, and your device determine whether you see a purchase button. Seeing the product page in a browser does not mean your account is eligible to buy the app.
Check your region before troubleshooting App Store prompts
- Open Settings, tap your Apple ID account at the top, then select Media & Purchases.
- Tap View Account, complete any requested verification, then open Country/Region to check your current setting. Labels and menu locations may vary slightly by system version.
- To view Apple’s official region-change flow, select Change Country or Region under Country/Region. Review the conditions shown by the system before deciding whether to continue.
Changing your region may depend on conditions such as your remaining balance, active subscriptions, Family Sharing settings, and payment method. Follow the current prompts on your Apple Account page. These steps show where to find the setting; they don’t guarantee that every account can change regions immediately. If you can’t continue, address the specific items listed on the page rather than assuming the app itself caused the purchase issue.
Also distinguish the account signed in at the top of your device from the account used under Media & Purchases. Use the account that made the original purchase when checking purchase history. When preparing to buy, check the account, currency, and amount shown on the App Store confirmation screen. This helps avoid searching the wrong storefront or mistaking another account’s purchase history for a missing purchase.
Verify the app: check three details, not just the name
Search results can help locate Shadowrocket, but verify the app by checking its developer, official icon, and app ID.
Developer: verify the full name
On the product page, find the developer or provider details and confirm the name is Shadow Launch Technology Limited. Don’t rely only on the first search result or pay based solely on the title containing Shadowrocket. For an app with the same or a similar name, check the other details too; similar names do not mean it’s the same product.
Official icon: look for the blue-purple outlined artwork on white
App ID: verify 932747118
The product link on this page ends in id932747118; the number 932747118 is the app ID. If you can view the product page URL in your browser, confirm that this part matches exactly. App names and descriptions can change, so checking the product identifier helps you avoid opening a different app’s page.
After installing, get familiar with Home and Add Server
These official English-interface screenshots were uploaded to the App Store by the developer. The Home screenshot shows Not Connected, Global Routing, Connectivity Test, SERVER, and Add Server. The Add Server screenshot shows fields such as Type, Host, Port, Password, and Method. They can help you recognize the interface, but do not mean that a usable server is already set up after installation.
The server entries in the screenshots are part of the App Store listing, not connection details provided by this site. The actual layout may vary by device, configuration, or app update, so use the screenshots as a visual guide only. To verify the app, check the three App Store details instead of relying on whether a particular row matches the screenshots exactly.
Download and open Shadowrocket on iPhone
Open the App Store product page on your iPhone. Check the compatibility section, then confirm the price or purchase status. Refer to the App Store listing for system requirements instead of relying only on a system version mentioned in a guide. If the store says your device is incompatible, address the device requirements first. If it shows an account or payment issue, follow that prompt; troubleshoot these as separate issues.
- Confirm that the developer is Shadow Launch Technology Limited, the app ID is 932747118, and the icon matches the official artwork.
- Check the currency, amount, and account on the purchase confirmation screen. Complete any requested verification and wait for the App Store download to finish.
- Open Shadowrocket and use Home to find the connection switch, Global Routing, and Add Server. Import your existing subscription or server details afterward.
- When you’re ready to connect, review the system prompt to add a VPN configuration. Confirm that the request is from Shadowrocket, then grant permission if appropriate.
VPN configuration permission lets the app process connections through the system network extension. It does not mean your purchase includes a server or that your current configuration will work. If you cancel for now, you can return to the app to check your configuration and follow the system prompt when you try connecting later. To test a connection, grant the required permission, enter valid server details, and select an appropriate mode.
Check download completion and connection status separately
If the app icon appears on your Home Screen, the app has generally been acquired and installed. If Home shows Not Connected, it means a connection has not been established; that status alone does not indicate a failed purchase. Check that you’ve imported your own configuration, selected a server, granted system permission, and chosen the intended Global Routing mode.
If installation fails, first check that your network can reach the App Store, your device has enough storage, and your account has no pending prompts. If connecting fails, check your existing subscription, server settings, and network. Connectivity Test can help with further troubleshooting, but it does not determine App Store purchase status or device compatibility. For the full walkthrough, read the user guide.
Install on iPad and check device compatibility
You can use the same Apple ID purchase on iPhone and iPad to get Shadowrocket. If you already bought it on iPhone, first confirm that the iPad uses the same account under Media & Purchases, then check your purchase history. If the other device shows a price, don’t assume you need to buy the app again; check the purchase record and account region first.
The iPad’s larger screen can change list widths, portrait and landscape layouts, and the placement of some controls compared with iPhone. Identify interface labels such as Home, Config, Data, and Settings as they appear in the app. When viewing screenshots from an iPhone, focus on what each entry and configuration field does; controls don’t need to appear in exactly the same pixel positions on iPad.
The app can be restored; check configuration separately
An app purchase and a subscription configuration are two separate things. After installing on iPad, don’t assume it already has all the servers, rules, and selected options from your iPhone. Check whether your own configuration has been transferred. If not, import your existing subscription or server details again, then check Global Routing and the selected server. Keep configurations containing credentials somewhere you control.
If your iPad does not meet the system requirements, check the compatibility section on the product page. Refer to the App Store listing for system requirements, device compatibility, and Universal Purchase details. Even if the app downloads successfully, test the connection on that device separately; network conditions, permissions, and configuration choices may differ between devices.
Switching devices or reinstalling: check your purchases first
After switching devices or deleting the app, you can usually redownload it from Purchased in the App Store without paying again, using the Apple ID that made the original purchase. The key is to find the original purchase record, not just confirm that a new device is signed in to an Apple ID. If Media & Purchases uses a different account from other system services, use the account that actually bought the app.
- Open the App Store, tap the account area in the top-right corner, and check Purchased. On some systems, the entry may appear under App or a related list.
- Search for Shadowrocket in your purchase history. If needed, check the list of apps that aren’t installed on your current device.
- After verifying the app name, developer, and icon, tap the cloud-shaped redownload button and complete any requested verification.
- Open the app, import your own subscription or server details, then check your rules, connection permission, and selected server.
If a price appears again, pause before paying
First check whether you’re using the Apple ID that made the original purchase, then confirm that Shadowrocket appears in its purchase history. You can also check for hidden purchases and see whether the account region has changed. Not finding a record temporarily does not mean you need to buy the app again. Don’t confirm another payment until you know why the record is missing.
To check whether Family Sharing applies, review the current details on the App Store product page and in your family purchase settings. It does not guarantee that every family member can get the app, and it does not replace checking the original purchaser, family status, and app support conditions. For purchase history or payment issues, follow the prompts from the App Store and Apple Account.
Restoring the app does not restore all configuration
Redownloading restores access to the app and resolves installation; it does not guarantee that server credentials, subscription URLs, local configuration, or your changes will be restored automatically. Before deleting the app from an old device, check that you’ve saved the information you need. After restoring it, verify each item to avoid mistaking an empty server list for a damaged app.
You can reimport an existing subscription using its original details, but don’t post a full link containing access credentials on a public page or in a screenshot. When entering server details manually, use the fields that match the protocol rather than copying what appears in an App Store screenshot. For help organizing, updating, and backing up after migration, see the subscription and server management manual.
Price and what a one-time purchase covers
The US reference price for Shadowrocket is $2.99 as a one-time purchase. Other storefronts show local currency; the current App Store product page and purchase confirmation display the actual amount. Don’t use the US dollar reference price to estimate what you’ll pay in another region. Taxes, local pricing, and storefront display can affect the final amount, so check the amount shown by the system before confirming payment.
A one-time purchase covers the client app; there is no monthly app fee. Updates are distributed through the App Store. You can use automatic updates in your device’s App Store settings or check for available updates in your account. For details about changes, refer to the product page’s update history and in-app information rather than relying on version details in an older guide.
Configure and test the connection after purchase
After getting the app, use your own existing subscription or server details to configure a connection. Account credentials, server address, protocol, and related parameters must match. An app purchase does not create these details. Subscription availability, remote server status, and whether you’ve purchased the client are also independent, so check each separately when troubleshooting.
Under Global Routing, Config, Proxy, and Direct determine how different connections are handled. Payment status does not determine where traffic goes. After importing your configuration, check the selected mode and settings, then connect and test the intended destination. For more on modes and rule matching, read the proxy mode guide; for field definitions, see the quick reference.
Before buying, check the storefront region, verify the three product details, review compatibility and the current price, then confirm payment. If you’ve already purchased the app, look for the purchase record first. This separates account, purchase, installation, and configuration issues so you don’t keep repeating steps that can’t solve the problem.
Download and purchase FAQs
Use the App Store prompt to determine whether the issue concerns your account, device, or purchase history, then go to the relevant section.
Why can’t I find Shadowrocket on the App Store?
This app is not available in the mainland China storefront. Your Apple ID country or region determines which storefront you see. Check it under Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases → View Account → Country/Region, then check the app’s availability on its product page. A storefront path in a web URL does not change your account region.
I can open the product page but can’t buy or download the app. What should I check?
Follow the App Store prompts to check your account region, payment status, device compatibility, available storage, and network connection. Check the App Store listing for system requirements. Being able to open the product page does not guarantee that your account can make a purchase.
Do I have to pay again after changing devices or reinstalling the app?
Use the Apple ID that made the original purchase and redownload the app from App Store → Account → Purchased. You usually won’t need to pay again. If a price appears, first check the account used for Media & Purchases and your purchase history. After restoring the app, you’ll still need to import your own subscription or server details.
Can I install Shadowrocket on my iPad after purchasing it?
You can use the same Apple ID purchase on iPhone and iPad to get Shadowrocket. On your iPad, check your purchase history and device compatibility in the App Store. Refer to the App Store listing for system requirements and Universal Purchase details.
Can I use Shadowrocket on Mac, Apple TV, or Apple Vision?
The compatibility section of the same App Store listing includes Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. Check availability in the App Store on the relevant device. Refer to the listing for system requirements, compatibility, and Universal Purchase details.
Where should I start if the app opens in English?
The official screenshots show the English interface. Start by getting familiar with Home, Add Server, Global Routing, Config, and Settings, then follow the official manual to import your existing subscription or server details. Interface language does not determine whether an app is genuine; check the developer, official icon, and app ID.
